Called to Greatness (Embracing the journey to your purpose and destiny) by Pastor Moses Mukisa - Pastor and Leader of Worship Harvest Ministries – Kampala, Uganda.
Pastor Moses looks at the story of David as he takes you through the journey from David the boy/sharped spending time with sheep and seemingly forgotten by the world, to David the anointed one, to David the Giant killer, to David the talented one, to David the loyal,…… to David the King and to David the old man.
Drawing from his personal journey as a person and as a leader, Moses reflects on lessons learned while giving practical wisdom and actionable advice to anyone desiring to make a lasting impact in the world.
Moses writes and he speaks – with sincerity and straight to the point (No cajoling), you’ll be taken to the village, to cities, to ancient Bible stories and sometimes you’ll get lost in your thoughts and imagination as you reflect on the stories.
While I’ve learnt a lot from the book, here are three quotes to give you a taste:
1. Never attempt to do in public, what you’ve not succeeded at doing in private
2. Preparation is your responsibility, while opportunity is God’s responsibility and when the two collide we find our destiny.
