In a fictional and very imaginative way Gene Edwards pierces into the heart of the young, talented and courageous David as the relates to King Saul and that of the old King David as he relates to the young, handsome and ambitious Absalom.
I've learnt that a leaders greatest and most determining battles are fought in the heart. Very deep in the heart.
If we can win the battles in the heart and humbly submit to God, he will display his power and wisdom and teach us and the world great lessons.
This book will bring the best out of your imagination and help you to time-travel to David's time.
I recommend this amazing story to those who are willing to be challenged in their thoughts and motives. This book will teach you humility and give you a kingdom perspective on power, leaders and transitions.
